Italian AFV Beltrame Group, one of the largest European producers of steel and special steel bars, is investing over EUR 11 million in modernizing the rolling mill within its Donalam steel plant
Donalam was set up in 2006, after Italian group Beltrame bought the Siderca hot rolling mill in Calarasi. Steel rounds produced at Donalam are sold to Germany, Italy and markets in central and eastern Europe, for use in industrial and mechanical engineering, the automotive sector and the oil industry.
